I just read an interesting article that said 
that a couple of things are really going to change tourism to Africa in the near future.
The first factor is that oil has been discovered along the Rift Valley and so the poor countries where the oil is found will undoubtedly place the extraction of oil above the protection of wildlife, for economic reasons.
The second factor is that it is predicted that by 2027, there will be more than a billion Chinese in the middle class and they will be eager to see the world and will greatly increase the number of people that will be visiting sensitive natural areas.
The wonders of the world will still be here, but they will be a lot more crowded
